Until recently, you have to call Airtel Nigeria customer care number for you to confirm if your Airtel SIM card has been successfully registered or not. Good news is that you can now check Airtel sim reg status by dialing a USSD code on your Airtel line.
The Airtel Nigeria SIM registration check code is *746#.
I have successfuly used it to confirm the sim registration status of my Airtel line. Hence, no need calling Airtel customer care number anymore.
How To Check If Your Airtel Line Is Registered or Not
Dial *746# on your Airtel line.
If registered, you will see a message like “…..(Airtel number) was registered on (date) on the Airtel network”.
If not yet registered, kindy go to a nearby Airtel shop to re-register your Airtel line. You might not be able to receive or make calls with your line if you fail to register it.
