Well, it's not as if we haven't been using Instagram on PC before now but the method we used was via third-party apps and web-based Instagram platform but now, the official app is ready for everyone on PC.
With the new app, you can easily upload pictures directly to Instagram from your PC camera roll folder, as well as been able to get notifications, chat via Instagram Direct, and of course use Stories, Search, Explore, Profile, and Feed.
Meanwhile, the main bug in the app is that it crashes whenever you try to add a Story, especially if you’re using a PC without a backward-facing cam.
We hope subsequent updates will fix that bug.
