Asus Zenfone Message (SMS) Settings

Asus Zenfone SMS settings allow users to Asus Zenfone smart phones to personalize the ASUS messaging app, configure sms notification settings, backup/restore sms messages, edit or add text templates, configure smsc settings and many more.

Asus sms app personalize settings allow users to enable or disable a dark mode and select a color theme for the app. Users can also set a background image for conversations and conversations list. Users can set font size, font style and text color for messages. More so, users are allowed to set sms signature text and use it in their messages.

The Asus SMS notifications settings allow users to enable or disable the display of message notifications in status bar. Users can also set different sms ringtones for SIM 1 and SIM 2 and enable/disable vibration. Wake up screen for new messages and display of messages content in notificataions can also be enabled or disabled. Users can as well enable or disable the sms “quick reply” feature.

The Asus Zenfone SMS General settings allow users to select their default sms app. Users can edit and create sms templates, set sms limit per conversation, configure sms cell broadcast etc There is also the settings for the backup and restore of sms messages.

Besides the settings above, there are also special settings for text messages and multimedia mms messages. The text settings allow users to change asus smsc settings which houses the message centre numbers for the SIM 1 and SIM 2. If desired, users can use mms to send a single message when there are multiple recipients of messages.
