Interesting!Mediatek Now Unveiled Helio X30 Chipset - See Specifications

Mediatek has unveiled another Chipsets Helio X30 which is the new chipset in the Helio X family. So gone are the days when people degrade smartphones powered by a mediatek chip and referring them as inferior and substandard phones. Even self, people do look down on china smartphones but I am against that because China are really trying and performing better than other countries you might thinking that the products are SuperB.

So this mediatek which is Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company have unveiled another mediatek called Helio X30 so the changes of this mediatek is the small size 10nanometers which is an improvement from its predecessor that is Helio X20 that has the size of 20nanometer.

Mediatek Helio X30 Specifications And Features

Helio X30 promised 53% improved power savings and 43% better performance than the Helio X20. It also supports LPDDR4 RAM up to 8GB and up to 28-megapixel dual ISPs.

Helio X30 Uses Three Island Designs which are;

  • 4 x Cortex-A73 @ 2.8GHz
  • 4 x Cortex-A53 @ 2.2GHz
  • 2 x Cortex-A53 @ 2.0GHz
The Helio X30 can support as much as 8GB of RAM with its four LPDDR4X bays, 4K video recording and playback at 30fps with the PowerVR 7XTP-MT4 GPU (850MHz), and dual-cameras up to 28MP. See the images of the detailed comparison between MediaTek Helio X20 and X30.

Mediatek didn't launch Helio X30 alone, MediaTek also introduced Helio P25, which is an upgraded version of the Helio P20 that was launched earlier this year. It uses the same 16nm TSMC process, however, it clocked a little faster than the P20.

So Helio X30 is said to be launched next year 2017 and the first smartphone to come with this processor is Vernee Apollo and other smartphones will then follow one by one.
